Terms for using Protaimé.
These terms explain the rules for using Protaimé, including bring-your-own-key provider usage, subscriptions, acceptable use, account responsibilities, and AI-output limitations.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Protaimé, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Protaimé is a project-aware AI workbench for organizing projects, tasks, files, extracted text, memory, instructions, AI runs, sources, audit records, and usage records. The service is designed to help users work with AI systems more deliberately, but it does not guarantee that AI-generated output is accurate, complete, safe, lawful, or suitable for any specific purpose.
3. Bring Your Own Keys
Protaimé does not resell model usage. You are responsible for obtaining, configuring, securing, and paying for your own AI provider accounts and API keys. Use of third-party AI providers is governed by those providers’ own terms, policies, pricing, limits, and data practices.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, provider keys, and account access. You must provide accurate registration information, verify your email when required, and promptly notify support if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Subscriptions, Trial, and Billing
Protaimé may offer a free trial and paid subscription plans. Plan limits may include project counts, storage, upload size, ZIP import size, ZIP file count, daily runs, concurrent runs, and processing priority. Subscription billing is handled through Stripe. Access may be paused if a trial expires, payment fails, a subscription is canceled, or a plan limit is exceeded.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload, create, or submit to the service. You grant Protaimé the rights necessary to store, process, transmit, display, index, extract, chunk, summarize, and otherwise handle that content for the purpose of operating the service.
7. AI Output
AI output may contain mistakes, omissions, hallucinations, outdated information, biased content, insecure code, or unsuitable recommendations. You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding whether to use any output. Do not rely on the service as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, engineering, security, or other expert advice.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not use Protaimé to violate law, infringe rights, abuse systems, compromise security, distribute malware, harass others, upload unlawful content, evade provider policies, overload infrastructure, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, nonpayment, or violation of these terms.
9. Security and Secrets
Do not submit passwords, private keys, provider API keys, recovery codes, or other sensitive secrets through support/contact forms or ordinary task prompts unless you understand the risk and have a specific operational reason. Provider keys should be entered only through the designated Settings interface.
10. Availability and Changes
The service may change over time. Features may be added, modified, limited, suspended, or removed. We may perform maintenance, experience downtime, or impose operational limits to protect reliability and security.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided as-is and as-available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, and error-free performance.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Protaimé and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, provider charges, or decisions made from AI output.
13. Cancellation
You may manage or cancel billing through Account where available. Cancellation may stop future billing but does not automatically delete stored workspace data. Data export or account-closure requests can be submitted through Contact or Support.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as the product, pricing, infrastructure, or law changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
