Get set up and start using Protaimé for real project work.
Learn the basic workflow: connect a provider, assign model roles, create a project, upload files, inspect extracted text, run tasks, and review sources or audit details when needed.
The shortest path to a useful first run.
Protaimé is bring-your-own-key by default. Add a provider key first, then create a project and run your first task with real context.
Add a provider
Open Settings, add your OpenAI, Gemini, or xAI API key, and test the provider. Saved keys are encrypted and not shown back in the UI.
Assign model roles
Choose models for Main, Review, Verification, and Final roles. You can start simple with one default Main model.
Create a project
Use Projects to organize files, PDFs, source bundles, images, extracted text, memory, instructions, and task history.
Run a task
Use Workspace to ask a question, select context, choose Direct/Fast/Full behavior, and inspect audit or sources when needed.
What users usually need first.
These are the areas most likely to matter during the first hour of using Protaimé.
Getting API keys
Create an API key from the provider dashboard for OpenAI, Gemini, or xAI. Paste it into Settings. Do not share keys through support messages.
Execution modes
Use Direct for speed, Fast for a lighter review pass, and Full when the answer benefits from draft, challenge, verification, and synthesis.
Files and extracted text
Upload project files, inspect extracted text, and use AI Vision enhancement for difficult image or diagram text when local OCR is not enough.
Audit and sources
Open Audit to inspect model steps, usage, and review details. Open Sources to inspect attached context or Research-mode supporting evidence.
Billing
Manage subscription and billing from Account. Standard and Pro access can be managed through the Stripe billing portal.
Reporting bugs
Logged-in users can report bugs from the app menu. Include the page, action, expected result, actual result, and visible error message.
Contact support with the page, goal, and exact issue.
Use Support for account, billing, provider setup, or general questions. Use Report a Bug from inside the app for repeatable product issues.
