How Protaimé handles data.
Protaimé stores the information needed to provide project-aware AI work: accounts, projects, files, extracted text, memory, instructions, task history, sources, audit records, and usage records.
1. Overview
Protaimé is a project-aware AI workbench. The service stores workspace data so users can manage projects, upload artifacts, extract and reuse context, maintain memory and instructions, review task history, inspect sources and audit records, and track usage.
2. Information We Collect
We collect account information such as username, email address, password hash, email verification status, subscription status, session/authentication records, and support/contact messages.
We also store user-created workspace content, including projects, tasks, prompts, responses, uploaded artifacts, extracted text, artifact chunks, project directories, memory records, instruction records, source records, audit records, model-step records, repository indexing records, and usage/cost metadata.
3. Provider Keys and Model Providers
Protaimé is bring-your-own-keys. Users connect their own provider credentials for supported AI providers. Provider keys are stored encrypted. Do not send provider keys, passwords, or private credentials through support/contact messages.
When you run AI tasks, relevant prompts, selected context, files, extracted text, memory, instructions, and other task data may be sent to the model providers you configure. Those providers process the information according to their own terms, policies, and account settings.
4. Billing Information
Billing is handled through Stripe. We store subscription status, Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, checkout/session references, plan information, billing-period metadata, and related billing state. We do not store full payment card numbers.
5. How We Use Information
We use stored information to provide the service, authenticate users, enforce subscription and plan limits, process uploads, extract and index artifacts, assemble task context, run AI workflows, display sources/audit trails, calculate usage, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
6. Cookies and Sessions
The service uses cookies and server-side session records for authentication, security, CSRF protection, and normal application operation.
7. Security
We use practical security controls such as secure sessions, access controls, encrypted provider secrets, CSRF-style request tokens, rate limits, and restricted administrative access. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.
8. Data Retention
Workspace data is retained while your account exists so the product can preserve project history, artifacts, memory, instructions, task threads, sources, audit records, and usage records. Some billing, security, abuse-prevention, audit, and operational records may be retained as needed for legitimate business, legal, accounting, or security purposes.
9. Data Export and Account Closure
Automated export and account-deletion tools are coming soon. Until then, use the Contact or Support page to request account-data export or account closure. Some records may need to be retained where required or reasonably necessary for billing, legal, security, or abuse-prevention purposes.
10. Children
Protaimé is not intended for children. Do not use the service if you are not old enough to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, infrastructure, or legal requirements change. The updated date above will reflect the latest version.
12. Contact
Questions about privacy, data export, or account closure can be sent through the Contact page.
